Vacation?

So we are done with day 3 and today was a rough one.  Iowa showed us her worst today with heat bad enough to make the news on the west coast, headwinds blowing at least 15 miles per hour and hills that just about made me cry. I did not make the 100 miler today because I chose to take a quick nap instead, I am, on vacation afterall.

With Matt on IR he drove with "college kid" today and they found us a motel room and we are now sitting in a 60 degree paradise with a pool and a hot tub, this may make tomorrow quite a bit better.

Speaking of tomorrow, we get another break from the heat at night due to the hospitality of my wife's aunt & uncle, the Henrys. I really hope they know what is in store for them!

I will again try to keep up my posts tomorrow because it seems we have left the cellular vaccum that is northwest Iowa and we have service again, I know, such 21st century problems.
